Q: What is Hard Core Logo?
A: Hard Core Logo is, primarily, a 1996 movie about a 1995 tour by a Canadian punk band. It's a mockumentary, a fictional film about a documentary crew following a fictional band. Both real and fictional punk musicians (and Joey Ramone) feature throughout.
Hard Core Logo is also a book, which the movie was based on. The book presents a very different version (vision?) of punk - one with the political content intact. I found it very interesting.
I watched Hard Core Logo because I was getting interested in C6D fandom. Also I like punk music and am kind of obsessive about old punk music in particular. As such I enjoyed this film (and I also enjoyed complaining about the things I thought they didn't get right.

Why pink? Well, contrary to the received wisdom, pink is a punk colour. Maybe even THE punk colour. Also all the other Hard Core Logo fansites I could find are red and black, or black and red, or white, red and black, so I thought I would buck the trend.
