Touch My Stump is an archive site for Hard Core Logo fanfic, founded in 2002. Last updated in 2010, but the site still (mostly) works. Many of these stories are also on Ao3, but it's nice to see them in their original context. And they have a banner! Ao3 tags don't have banners.
The animated intro page must be seen to be believed. Beyond that there's pictures, links and some interesting backstory info for the main characters in the film.
Is a movie's tie-in website part of canon? That's a question the greatest minds of my generation still haven't agreed on an answer to....
Hard Core Logo by Michael Turner - The book of the radio show of the movie. Other versions are available on archive.org, but this one has a nice cover. Worth reading if only to see how different it is from the movie (and to join me and like 3 other people in the Ao3 tag).
Hard Core Roadshow - Go behind the scenes! Read all about the writing, production and making of the movie!
Hard Core Logo the Graphic Novel - Jesus, I didn't even know this existed 'till now. What is this, and who is it for? I haven't read it yet, but I will report back.
Canadian Punk Links
- EqualizingxDistort - these guys are the business.
- Calgary Cassette Archive - music made & played in Calgary, Alberta since the 50s. This site is so good it's almost scary!
- Vancouver Punk Archive - courtesy of DOA etc., a massive collection of Vancouver punk flyers, zines & other ephemera available to view online. Great or what!! I live for this stuff. Someone should take me out with a sniper rifle. Look out for the punk zine from Richmond.
